By reading and meditating on the Word of God day and night, we spend precious time in the presence of God. The more we hunger and thirst for Him, the more we allow the Holy Spirit to transform us to bear fruit, for apart from Him we can’t do anything. Receiving the free gift of righteousness through faith in Jesus compels our heart to be humble and lead us to a lifestyle of righteous action acceptable to God.
Dear Father God, thank You for sending Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us. You made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21). Help us to transform our heart and mind to the likeness of Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen!
