Today is Mother’s Day. Both our wives and mothers are a gift from God. Let us reflect on the unconditional love and sacrifice that our wives and mothers have made for our children and us throughout the years. The verses above mention “Praise “ 3 times. We have on numerous occasions showered our wives and mothers with gifts and meals. But the most precious of gift that we can give them is Praise. When was the last time we praised our wives? When was the last time we said to our mother thank you for bringing me up and instilling in me what I am today? When was the last time we said to them I thank God for you? Let’s make this day a “praise” day for them.
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank You for giving me such a precious gift, my wife and my mother. I want to thank You for their faithfulness, for their unconditional love for my children and myself. I am so fortunate to have them in my life. I ask that You will bless them with joy and peace during such a trying time of Covid-19. Bless them with health and hope. May they be blessed in everything they do and touch. May their lives be fulfilled abundantly as they continue their journey with You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
