So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them…and God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.Genesis 1:27, 31 (ESV)
In Genesis 1:27, we see that God created both male and female in His own image. God saw everything He created on the first five days was good but on the sixth day, God saw that it was not good for man to be alone. I believe that woman was the finale and masterpiece of God’s creation because she was created last to enjoy all that God and Adam have prepared for her arrival and after she was created, God saw everything He had made was not just good but very good (Genesis 1:31).
Lord, I thank You for the women that you have placed in my life, and I pray that as I express more of my love and appreciation to them (my mother, my wife and my daughter), You will open my eyes to see more of the goodness that You have intended for me and my family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
