As a believer we need to set an example to the youth in our speech, conduct, love, faith and purity towards God. Words are powerful tools to shape the youth, as gentle words bring life and health and a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. Our conduct also reflects the one we believe –Jesus. The youth need us to love and care for them.
Father Lord, we know that we are the spiritual parents of the youth, so help us guard our tongue and give us words of true wisdom to encourage them. Lead us and guide us to love and care for them also, so that they may have confidence and be able to develop the potential that You have given to them. Let us be the light and salt to the youth. In Jesus mighty name. Amen!
