As a child, I always loved the pleasant fragrance and the vibrant colours of the ‘sweet pea’ flowers growing in the large back garden of our house in the UK. Just like these beautiful flowers, which possess the power to uplift our mood, heal, please, comfort and give us an optimistic outlook towards life; we also have the power to demonstrate the very qualities of God and transform our environment.
Heavenly, Father, we thank You for filling us with Your Beauty, Your Presence and Your Power. Teach us how to live a life in full bloom, so that we can honour You and bring change to the lives of those around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
