I once saw the magnificence of God’s creation in a flower I saw in Nepal. It was white, transparent and nothing like I’d ever seen before. I immediately took pictures of it because I knew I would never see such splendour again. Like all flowers they only bloom for a short time, but their beauty attracts people passing by. When I look back I realise how our lives are beautiful but short. Like flowers, let us live our lives in full bloom and share the Good News and disciple those that cross our way.
Father in Heaven, I pray that we stay nourished through Your Living Word so that we remain in full bloom. Let this bloom reflect your beauty and attract those around us. Help us through your Holy Spirit to recognise this and to share the Good News and disciple those that cross our path. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
