Chinese people have this saying – the ox pulls the plough while the horse eats the grain. The ox is a very hardworking animal and it is always in a less favourable position as it always serves others. However, the Bible tells us the real success in life is not how many people are serving you but how many people you are serving for Jesus came not to be served but to serve.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for reminding us we are here to serve but not to be served. May we all know how to make best use of the gifts You gave us to serve others and our church. In Jesus' name, Amen.
