Passion is so important in marriage. Words of adoration and praise for our spouse build intimacy between husbands and wives.
Not only that, in a recent Growing Kids God’s Way session, we are reminded that our children will also feel secured and assured when they see that their parents love each other. Our children need to see their parents expressing their love for each other, affirming and desiring to be with each other.
Songs of Solomon 5:10-16 is an example of a bride praising her beloved. When was the last time we praise our beloved?
Let us walk in a passionate, delightful and intimate relationship with our spouse.
Father God, we choose to put on our lips words of affection, adoration and honour for our spouse. Bless our marriages. I pray that husbands and wives will always be held strongly together with passion and desire for each other. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
