I am often touched and feel great admiration every time I see an elderly couple holding hands while walking together. It’s such a beautiful sight! Their love, without words, is evident and priceless. Growing old together as a couple takes hard work. However, it is through the ups and downs of life that the marriage relationship is strengthened, love is appreciated and not taken for granted.
Father God, thank You for our spouses. Help us to keep the joy, laughter and freshness in our marriages. Help us to grow stronger during the trials that come our way. May we always appreciate our spouse, keep choosing one another, staying committed and connected to one another. Most of all, we pray that You be the centre of all our marriages. In Jesus’ name.
