My wife and I recently did an interview for an ICA video broadcast, which was based on Song of Solomon. It was a great opportunity to reflect on how God has blessed our marriage over the past 41 years! Leaning on each other is an important practice that has strengthened our marriage. On holidays, I normally drive, whereas my wife would navigate. In our younger days, we could argue if we lost the way. However , now we realise that it’s better to depend on each other to get out of tricky situations!
Dear Heavenly Father we thank You for the gift of marriage, that a husband and wife can support each other physically, emotionally and spiritually. We pray Your blessings on all marriages. May all couples learn to lean on each other more so they can grow stronger together. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
