As my family walked for hours on a humid hot day in Bangkok Botanical Garden, I fell behind my husband John and our son Jacob. John had just dashed onto the road from the side gate to catch a taxi and he was not aware Jacob, who was 3 years old then, was running after him. A truck honked crazily as the driver did not anticipate a child running out from the gate. At that moment, neither John nor I were close enough to catch Jacob. Jacob was only one step away from being hit by the oncoming truck. I believe our Heavenly Father, who is our Invisible Protector, saved Jacob there and then. The incident happened 12 years ago, and I am forever grateful God saved Jacob.
Father, You are our Invisible Protector. We may not see You physically, but Your presence and protection are with us in every circumstance, whilst Your foresight and power watches over, protects and provides for us. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
