When the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his own daughter, to go in to the king, she asked for nothing except what Hegai the king's eunuch, who had charge of the women, advised. Now Esther was winning favor in the eyes of all who saw her.

We were all once orphans when we were living in disobedience, like sheep without a shepherd. It is God’s heart to see everyone promoted from orphanhood to royalty. We are all unique and precious in His eyes. If you want to receive God’s favour, it is important to obey Him and follow His will. God wants to show His favour to us. When you face challenges in life, seek God’s guidance and faithfully act upon it. God will do His part. You may not know ahead of time how He will turn things around. Trust God and prepare to be surprised by the ways He demonstrates His trustworthiness just like how He turned things around in Esther’s life.
Gracious Father, we are all living in this fallen world. May You grant us Your favour and teach us to remember Your faithfulness as we face the challenges of today. In Jesus name, Amen.
