Colossians 1:19-20 (ESV)
Colossians 1:19-20 is a powerful statement of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. He is the one who has restored our relationship with God and with each other by His sacrifice and forgiveness. He is the one who has brought peace to a broken and hos2le world by His love and grace.
This tells us we can know God personally and in5mately through Jesus, who reveals Him to us. It means that we can experience God's presence and power in our lives through Jesus, who lives in us by His Spirit. It means that we can enjoy God's peace and joy in our hearts through Jesus, who gives us His peace that surpasses understanding. It means that we can share God's love and message with others through Jesus, who commissions us to be His witnesses.
Let us praise Jesus for who He is and what He has done for us. Let us thank Him for reconciling us to God and to each other. Let us worship Him in our heart and action to be peacemaker of all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
