For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?

I have met many in confusion at a major crossroads. Which school? Which job? Which life partner? Which church? Where to move? While there are many variables to factor in, for those in Christ, one is ESSENTIAL: does it align with God’s mission and the Great Commission? Will taking this path enable you to touch lives in Jesus’ name? If no, better to avoid that path. We will not bring our university degree, job security, reputation, or standard of living into the next life. But we can help bring others into the Kingdom of God. That is all. In the new heaven and new earth under Christ, the old things will pass away. God forbid that we choose worldly gain at the expense of the Great Commission!
Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting us with the Great Commission. Grant us wisdom to choose the right paths that align with this, for there is no better way! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
