As Christians, we have all been given a mission to share the gospel. A simple mission but no light task. It may be easy to feel overwhelmed and discouraged by the weight of this mission, not knowing where to start. In the age of social media where technology has enabled us to reach far and wide with the tip of our fingers, it has become equally easy to feel drowned out by all the voices and distractions. However, Christian brothers and sisters, we can find comfort in the fact that we are a team, and that we can find strength in each other. If each of us plays our role and reaches out to those around us, we will be able to make disciples of those in Jerusalem, all of Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the world.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for blessing us with a community of brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that You will reveal to each of us our spiritual gifts, and continue to strengthen us as a community, so that in unity we may be able to serve You and engage in the mission in our unique ways, and that we may bring together all nations to the kingdom of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
