And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 28:18-19 (ESV)
Jesus promises that His followers, now His representatives on earth would have His authority and power to proclaim and spread His message throughout the world. But they must obey Jesus' command to wait for the Father to fulfil His promise and send the Holy Spirit to empower them. We are to take His message to people of all nations and cultures. All of us are to make disciples everyday.
All followers of Christ are missionaries. We are all 'sent ones'. We must acknowledge, access and accompany the anointed one. Take action in the name of the Anointed one.
Heavenly Father, we are called to align our heart to God's heart, to love You and love people. We pray that the Holv Spirit will help us to proclaim the Good News to those who does not know Jesus.
We will be His witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
