Many parents in Hong Kong would agree that choosing and getting into the right school for the kids could be a daunting process. The choices are plenty, each leading to various paths:
Local or international, Government or direct subsidy or private schools. I remember casting this burden to the Father and how He led my son to the right school. During the process, fears and doubts crept in like waves, especially when we learnt that he was on the borderline mark after the first interview. It brought us to our knees when the circumstances seemed contrary to God's promise. We chose to only listen to the counsel of God and fixed our eyes on Him, rather than the circumstances. His word is always true. In the second-round interview, he was accessed with a puzzle challenge, and we happened to have that same board game at home. He excelled in it. God led him to that school despite the chance of getting into it was less than 6%. All glory to God!
Jesus, You are the cloud of guidance to us. Your instruction, guidance and counsel are timely, wholesome, and perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
