I easily forget that Jesus is here, when I get caught up in the day-to-day tasks, especially with the amount of information to process after starting a new job. Added onto an unsustainable belief that I must do things as efficiently as possible while not burdening others, I get stressed, afraid, and lose confidence during the day. In my preoccupations, I had lost sight of Holy Spirit whom the Father has sent to guide me. He tells me the ultimate aim is not to achieve, or even to strive to share the gospel, it is to abide in Him during all my thoughts, speech and actions. Everything will spring from there. I can rest in him during the storm of noise all around.
Dear Holy Spirit, You are always here with me, every moment of every day. Help me not to only remember You during stressful times but to abide in You who brings peace beyond all understanding. Help me see all y Your blessings every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
