When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the Lord would speak with Moses. And when all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people would rise up and worship, each at his tent door.
Exodus 33:9-10 (ESV)
Moses followed God’s instruction to gather the people and build the tabernacle. God provided clear guidance and instruction because of His love for His people, desiring to dwell among them and be with them. In our present time, we are even more privileged. By accepting Christ, God dwells within us. We become His dwelling place, and we can communicate directly with Him through the Holy Spirit. How do we respond to such a privilege? Do we take it for granted, or do we treasure and cherish this intimate relationship?
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Christ Your precious son on earth, for through His sacrifice that changed our lives, we have direct access to You. Lord, may we share Your great love with others, spread the good news and bless others Lord. What we can contribute is far less than what we have been given. We thank You and pray all these in Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen
