"Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

We often see Jesus cool, calm and collected in the gospels. Be it calming the storms, delivering people of demonic oppression or even raising the dead.
Yet there was one account of Jesus hurrying. In the story of Zacchaeus the chief tax collector, Jesus told him to "make haste". Zacchaeus invited and received Jesus joyfully to his house and got saved! "Today, salvation has come to this house" (Luke 19:9)
When it comes to salvation, it is a NOW and TODAY matter, especially to God! It's never a "yesterday you said tomorrow" thing.
I remember how my uncle, a monk for more than thirty years, became saved. He was staying in a remote countryside, hardly connected with anyone, was very ill and had been “hearing strange voices". God gave me a dream concerning him, which I shared when I last visited him. My uncle immediately accepted Christ into his life and got saved. Hallelujah!
Father, help us to be always willing and ready to be Your hands, feet and voice in reconciling the lost to You. Amen.
