Would people recognise Jesus’ closing testimonial in Revelation that He is the bright Morning Star who came as the Root and Offspring of David, in divinity and humanity (Revelation 22:16)? Risen from the dead, He ushered eternal light, ascended to heaven (Acts 1:9) and will return with glorious clouds (Matthew 26:64). He’s the Son of God and Son of Man who’s been given everlasting authority (Matthew 28:18), the ladder connecting heaven and earth (Genesis 28:12, John 1:51).
Having fulfilled all and ready to send the Holy Spirit, He called the born-again disciples to the Great Commission and preach the Good News, for dead men tell no tales. The creation mandate (Genesis 1:28) shall be restored in greater dimension as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth (Ephesians 1:10).
Thank You Jesus, for the fifty years of commissioning ICA to walk in Your plans. As we take root and run the race for You, help us to raise a new generation for You. In Your name, Amen.
