Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

As Christians, we are very blessed to be surrounded by spiritual leaders and role models. I have been with ICA for over 20 years; ICA pastors and leaders have inspired me a lot and helped me drop every ‘weight’ and to run the ‘race’. Most importantly, they taught me how to fix my eyes on Jesus and to follow how He ran his race. When our race gets tough or when we are tempted to give up, we have to remember to look at how He ran His race and won. I am sure He will help us finish our race well.
Dear Heavenly Father, may You always remind us that as a Christ follower, we are all called to run our race with Christ. Let us drop every weight and sin and run with endurance. He will help us finish our race well. In Your Mighty Name we pray, AMEN!
