We are all free to make choices in life and our Heavenly Father respects our free will. Indeed, FAITH is a choice! As Christians, we choose to believe that God has forgiven our sins, so we can move from transgression to transformation, to be more like Jesus day after day, and be thankful to God our redeemer. But we can also choose the opposite; to embrace our sinful nature and keep chasing after what we or other people expect of us. In the end, our souls will just feel empty and weary. Have you made up your mind? Are you choosing to be freed by the path of life-giving faith or be trapped by a
'life-devouring' chase? The choice is yours.
Father God, we thank You for Your forgiveness of our sins, and for giving us the power to detect and withstand temptation. I lift the congregation into Your hands and pray that we will always choose the right path and be able to live a victorious life in You. In Jesus name, Amen.
