My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials

Hebrews 12:1-2 says "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."
When you study the Book of Acts and Church history, you'd observe that the early Church, even though they suffered intense persecution and opposition both from the devil and human adversaries, waxed greater and stronger.
We need to keep hope alive and be encouraged, always having the finish line in mind, the glory and splendour that awaits us through eternity. In Romans 8:18, the Apostle Paul reminds us that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Praise God forevermore..
Thank You Almighty Father for Your Holy Spirit, who keeps us encouraged and joyful irrespective of the times. Thank You for our blessed hope in Christ Jesus. Amen.
