It is challenging to find joy especially in difficult situations. In the previous five years of running a startup, Covid was one of the main hurdles in growing the company. However, it was during that time where I grew in Christ, learned to abide and put my trust in Him even when things may not look positive. I see that Christ is my CEO; His way is higher than my way. No matter how difficult the situation is, I start each day by counting His blessings, asking for His wisdom, releasing His joy and peace, and speaking in tongues until I can feel His joy in me. I will read my Bible on my way to the office, seeking His insight and revelation. This ritual has allowed me to find joy in Christ, to surrender myself, and allow Joy, the fruit of the Spirit, to grow inside of me.
Thank You that You are a Good God, that Your way is higher than my way. Guide us to know more about You, to be more like You, and to see things from Your lens. We trust that You will be our shelter and our source of Joy, as you abide in us. In Jesus name, Amen.
