Reflection
It is a good idea to reflect on how we make conversation with others (Ecclesiastes 10:12). Are our usual conversations about ‘me’ or ‘myself’ or are they about building others (Ephesians 4:29)? ‘I’ and ‘me’ are a result of pride, and God's heart is not in a prideful person.
Prayer
Father, we pray that You would help us guard our thoughts and our words. May they be only to bring Your name the honour it always deserves. Amen.
