Reflection
Every day we are living in the battle between the desires of our flesh versus the fruit of the Spirit. Our flesh always brings deterioration while the fruit always brings multiplication and growth. When we satisfy our flesh, it is about building “my kingdom”, but when we satisfy the Spirit, it builds “His Kingdom”. It is important to understand that we cannot walk in the Spirit simply on our own strength as there will always be occasions when we succumb to our flesh in our weakness. However, it is imperative for us to stay close to the Father as He will give us strength, change what our heart wants, and our desire to please Him will increase accordingly.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to crucify our own flesh and more of the fruit of the Spirit to be evident in our lives as we walk closely and rely on You. In Jesus name, Amen!
