Reflection
Psalm 24 is a strong reminder to surrender everything to God because the Earth and everything in it, is the Lord’s. How beautiful and freeing is this? We don’t need to spend all our time, energy and thoughts worrying about earning, creating and collecting earthly treasures. It all belongs to God and we are free from any bondage to these possessions. Instead, we get to spend our time worshiping the King of Glory, joyfully welcoming him and dwelling in His presence.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for taking care of us and providing for our needs. We thank You for all that You have given us and pray for your wisdom to guide us in stewarding our resources and possessions wisely. We praise Your name and give you all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
