Reflection
Imagine an orphan living in fear, always alone, always unsure. Before we knew Jesus, we lived the same way. We were slaves to fear; fear of death, fear of being not good enough, fear of being abandoned.
But God did not leave us as orphans! Through Jesus, God gave us a new spirit; the Spirit of adoption who makes us part of His family. We can now call Him "Abba". This changes everything. We are no longer slaves who serve only out of duty, afraid of punishment. Instead, we are His beloved children who serve out of love.
Remember, you are no longer a servant but an heir of God’s Kingdom. Today, speak to God as your loving Father and live as His child.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank You for adopting me. Fill me with Your Spirit. Remove my fears and help me live as Your joyful child. In Jesus' name, Amen.
