Reflection
I remember when my boys were newborns and I had to clip their tiny finger nails. One time, I accidentally clipped some of their flesh and they screamed like crazy. I felt so guilty and thought, “I don’t think I’m very motherly!”
How good are you in forgiving yourself? Or letting go of guilt after repentance? God has said, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself”, and to forgive others because He has first forgiven us.
Prayer
Father Lord, I pray for all the guilt in our hearts to be laid at your feet. Bind it and destroy it. Let our hearts be renewed and free of condemnation, to be truly set free and living in the Holy Spirit! In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!
