Reflection
Pilate was so afraid of the Jewish leaders and the "loudest voices" of the crowd that he handed Jesus over to be crucified despite knowing He was innocent. Like Pilate, I have struggled with the "fear of man"—choosing what is convenient or popular instead of what is right. There have been times when I lacked boldness to stand firm, but also moments when, by God's grace, I chose the right path. Looking back, those right decisions brought deep peace, because I sought to please God rather than people. I have seen how God can turn difficult situations into blessings through obedience.
God’s Kingdom operates differently than the world. His "well done" is worth far more than the world’s approval. When I choose His truth, He will bless me abundantly because His mercy and grace are my ultimate security.
Prayer
Jesus, we behold You as our true and reigning King. Grant us grace to remain faithful even when Your answers to our prayers differ from what we hoped. Give us courage to choose what is right over what is convenient. May Your Kingdom priorities—not the pressure of the world—shape our identity and decisions today. Amen.
