Reflection
We have all read in Scripture and heard from sermons that we are to forgive those who have wronged us. Jesus taught us that we should not just forgive seven times but seventy-seven times. Apart from forgiving others, in our lives, we are bound to have regrets, actions or words we wish we could undo. Therefore, it is equally vital to learn to forgive ourselves.
Forgiving ourselves does not mean we are to forgive and forget about it; rather, we are to learn from our mistakes and let it be a point of upgrade for us. As Scripture says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to learn to forgive ourselves and learn from our mistakes so that it can be an opportunity of upgrade for us. In Jesus name, Amen!
