No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:37-39 (ESV)

No More Separation and More than Conquerors

Reflection In this passage, Paul stated that in spite of hardship, persecution and danger, we are not defeated but are “more than conquerors”. This victory isn’t achieved through our own strength but through Christ, who loves us. Paul makes a declaration with absolute confidence that God’s love for those who are in Christ is unshakeable, eternal and completely beyond the reach of any forces in the universe.

Prayer Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrificial love through the cross, that there is no more condemnation. As we are justified by God, sanctified by the Spirit, we can also have the hope of the glory of God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
