Reflection
What impressed upon me is that Elijah did not pray for fire or rain. He asked God to answer so that everyone would know that Jehovah is the one and only true God, for the people to repent and return to God. Elijah wanted the name of Jehovah God to be known. Our main focus should be the Glory of God, not personal requests.
Prayer
Father, may I keep the Glory of God as the first priority in my prayers.
