Reflection
I have always wondered how cactus plants survive in the most arid of places. As we look at nature, there are so many vivid imprints of God’s heart for His beloved people.
Amidst the scorching heat and unforgiving terrains, cactus plants have unique abilities and structural characteristics to overcome and become life-giving sources that retain water for survival. Similarly, as children of God, He has destined us for great things. In order to grow and mature as He intended, there will be times of stretching and testing. However, He reminds us that He is the source of Life and our strength. As we continue to fix our eyes on Him, submitting to His Lordship, God gives us the capacity to see beyond our limitations, strength to endure, faith with expectation rooted in His goodness. He turns water into wine, giving streams in the desert that life may break forth. He makes our hearts malleable and expanded for His kingdom workings.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your goodness prevails in and out of season. We entrust all to You today knowing You are good. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
