But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

What is True Freedom in God

Reflection God giving us freedom of choice doesn’t mean that we can do whatever we want to do. Jesus only sets us free from Moses’ laws. Instead, we have to submit to the Holy Spirit. In submitting to the Spirit, we have to love one another with the love of God. True freedom in Christ gives us the freedom to serve others and love others as ourselves.

Prayer Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and providing us with Freedom! May Your Spirit continue to guide us to serve others with God’s love, and love others as ourselves. We pray all these in Your Mighty Name, AMEN!
