And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:14 (ESV)

Jesus, The King of All

Reflection Kings are depicted in history, literature and culture as powerful. They hold the utmost authority of their kingdom and some even rule over vast areas. Yet even the most powerful king of the earth can never compare to King Jesus, the King of all, the King of Kings. His universal Kingship was prophesied many years before His birth. No one else in history except Jesus was given this prophecy and title! Isn’t it a privilege to be a part of His Kingdom that is everlasting? Let the verse reminds us to revere Him and honour His Kingship. Let’s not just intellectually know that He is the King of all, but make Him King over all aspects of our life.
Prayer Jesus, we thank You that You are the King over all. We want to make You the only King over our life. We surrender all things to You. May You be our Lord and our God. We lift Your name up high in all that we say and do. In Your holy name we pray, Amen.
