Reflection
I once heard the definition of cheap grace: grace without discipleship, forgiveness without repentance, and purpose without relationship. There is a cost to follow Jesus. The world behind us and the cross before us. When we believe, we must act on it. Belief in Jesus is not merely a creed but a deeper relationship with the King of kings—our great High Priest, and yet a friend. Let us live out our faith in full confidence that He never leaves us nor forsakes us, even when we need to make the difficult but right decision to follow Christ in our daily lives.
Prayer
Lord, give us the courage to follow You faithfully in whatever life throws at us, for we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
