Reflection
When my son was born, Love transformed me overnight—from someone who naturally put myself first into someone who unnaturally loves others more. I freely and joyfully chose to give up my job, my sleep, my time, my habits, and my comforts, all to love and care for my son as a stay-at-home mother. This was purely God’s work of grace.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has set us free to love as He loves: selflessly, sacrificially, and sacredly. This is only possible when we depend on the love of God to continually flow into us through the Holy Spirit. So whenever you feel short of love, simply ask Him to fill you more of His. His grace is sufficient.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the freedom to love others in the same way You do. We desire to receive more of Your love today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
