Reflection
When I was a new believer, I did not fully understand God’s grace and generosity. As a poor university student, I often placed only a few coins in the offering bag during Sunday services, feeling I simply did not have enough to give.
In His kindness, however, God opened the door to an excellent summer job and blessed me financially. His provision touched me deeply, and out of gratitude rather than obligation, I began to tithe and trust Him with my resources.
God taught me to give not through commands, but through His own generosity. He showed me that He is a loving and generous Father who invites us to become channels of His blessing so that others may experience His goodness. Through our generosity, a harvest of righteousness and thanksgiving can rise to Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your abundant generosity and faithfulness. You are our Provider, never failing to supply our needs. As You bless us, help us to live with open hands and grateful hearts, ready to bless others. Grow our generosity so that many may experience Your goodness and respond with joy and thanksgiving to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
