Reflection
I suffered from severe neck and shoulder pain that no medication could relieve. Each time I visited ICA’s Healing Rooms, the pain would ease for a while but always returns stronger. It lingered for a year, even as I dealt with other spiritual issues.
One Sunday during worship, I cried out to God for complete healing. He showed me that I was holding unforgiveness in my heart—towards people, and even towards Him. I repented with tears, and over the following week the pain disappeared completely. I have been pain-free ever since.
Unforgiveness can damage both our health and our walk with God. Looking back, I realise how distant I felt from Him during that painful year.
God is not mocked. What we have freely received, we must freely give—especially forgiveness.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, forgiveness is free to us, but it cost the death of Christ on the cross. Help us never take His sacrifice lightly. Teach us to forgive others as You have forgiven us—freely, fully, and continually—so that our hearts remain pure before You. In Jesus’ Name Amen!
