Reflection
Often, we walk by faith and not by sight, but God graciously gives us signs to confirm, and encourage us with hope. We need to open our spiritual eyes to see and respond to Him in faith.
The resurrection of Jesus is the sign as our secure hope of an abundant life now and the eternal life to come. God is real and He really cares. Are we taking this sign lightly, or are we holding fast to this precious truth? Because He lives, we can face the future with our Anchor of Hope. Just believe, for “God is not a man that He should lie.” (Numbers 23:19)
Prayer
I know who holds the future, and He’ll guide me with his hand. With God things don’t just happen; everything by Him is planned. So as I face tomorrow with its problems large and small, I’ll trust the God of miracles, and give to Him my all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
