Reflection
Pilate did not understand that Jesus was the King of the Jews. Jesus replied to Pilate that His Kingdom is not of this world, implying a spiritual Kingdom that naked eyes cannot see. Jesus came to the earth to fulfil prophecies in the Old Testament. He came to bear witness to the truth. Then, what is truth? In John 14:6, Jesus tells it plainly, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”, adding that “… you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).
Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, please help us to understand Your truth and may the truth transform our lives to the likeness of You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
