Reflection
Even after following Jesus, we are still subject to the temptation of sin, as we are not perfect. Instead, I learn to focus on my true identity as God’s beloved child, and conform to what is righteous in the Lord’s eyes only. Every day, I seek to “empty” myself by repenting of any sin that I may still carry, renouncing it, proclaiming the continued and abundant blessings from the Lord, and asking the Holy Spirit to guide, and assist me in doing what the Lord wants me to do, with wisdom, anointing and empowerment. I enjoy having the fear of the Lord and not of this world.
Prayer
Father, You are good. Thank You for giving Your only begotten Son to die for us so that we can have resurrected lives. Thank You Holy Spirit for always being with us, protecting, guiding and leading us to do what is right. We pray that we can cling to Your word in whatever situation we are facing. Please remove any hurdle to bring us closer to You, and continue to sharpen, empower and enlighten us so that we can serve You with a humble and pure heart, bringing the Kingdom to this world.
