Reflection
The death of Jesus dealt with our sins once and for all time. The resurrection of Jesus confirmed our righteous standing in Him. When we put our faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour, God the Father sealed our sonship with His Spirit. Therefore, as new creation in Christ, we are to consider ourselves dead to sin and live unto righteousness, according to the Spirit, bearing fruit unto God. Hallelujah!
Prayer
Lord, thank You that we are already dead to sin and righteous in You. Help us to bear much fruit as we abide in You, bringing joy to our Father and glory to His name. Amen.
