Reflection
As Christ’s followers, we are new creations with a transformed perspective and mission: ambassadors for Christ, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. Yet in our zeal, we must never forget that reconciliation is not done by us, but for us. We cannot reconcile by ourselves; we can only be reconciled by God. It did not originate with our message or efforts but entirely with His love and initiative through the divine exchange, where He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. The work was His alone; we are but vessels of unearned grace. Our work as ambassadors must be rooted in humble gratitude for the gift we have first received. Only by remembering what Jesus has done can our ministry truly give glory to Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us to be new creations and Christ’s ambassadors and to share Your glory while we were undeserving of it. Please establish us in the finished work of Christ, so that as we proclaim the Gospel, our motivation may be pure grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
