Reflection
Our faith in God and faithfulness in serving Him are proved through and tested in times of trials and warfare. How much faith do you need to believe that God will fight for us and can scatter enemies with His power, authority and sovereignty?
Elijah “passed the test” and gave glory to God on Mount Carmel, though his faith may have faltered at other times. But he fought a good fight and brought the Lord great glory. Our constant faith-building exercises in Him will always display God’s glory and power.
God hears us. He can have all victories by His decree. Let’s have faith in Him and walk closely with Him. In our lives, may His glory and Kingdom be manifested.
Prayer
Dear Lord, strengthen our faith to trust and obey You more and more. Help us to pass the tests and trials in our daily lives so we can decree Your will and give testimonies of Your glory and victories in all the battles we encounter. In Jesus’ name.
