Reflection
In the time of the prophet Elijah, a poor widow had almost no food left, just enough for one last meal with her son. Then Elijah asked her to feed him first. It seemed impossible. But she obeyed God and gave her little bit to him.
God performed a miracle. Her flour and oil never ran out. He took care of them every single day.
She chose wise obedience. Instead of fear, she trusted God’s promise. Obedience turns our “little” into much, and our fear into faith. When we obey God with what we have, He makes it enough.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You that You are bigger than any lack I face. Help me obey You quickly and trust You fully, even when things look scary. Turn my “little” into much and fill my heart with faith instead of fear. Thank You for Your provision. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
