Reflection
I remember a time when a close friend and I couldn't see eye to eye on a particular decision while on a short vacation trip. We were both convinced we were right, and our friendship suffered during the trip. Like the Corinthians, we were focused on who was correct rather than examining our own hearts.
Paul's words hit home: "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith" (2 Corinthians 13:5). I realized my pride had built walls, not Jesus. When I stopped defending myself and started reflecting on whether Christ was truly in me, something shifted.
True growth in grace means letting Jesus remove every obstacle to our relationships. It's not about being vindicated but about restoration. Remember, we pass the test not by being perfect, but because Jesus lives in us.
Prayer
Lord, help me examine my heart before judging others. Let Your grace humble me and restore my relationships. May I rejoice, seek peace, and put on Christ daily. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
