You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others,

Generosity in Giving— Posture of the Heart

Reflection Giving is an act of grace. God gives us both daily food and extra resources to share. Because of the surpassing grace of God in our lives, we are able to share God’s love and truth of the gospel, reaping harvest of our righteousness, bearing spiritual fruitfulness.

Generosity in giving is not an obligation, nor about how much we possess. It is about the posture of the heart; a thankful heart overflowing with God's love and compassion, participating in what God is doing for the poor, the lost and the needy, and enriching lives, bringing more thankfulness to God.

Prayer Abba Father, we come with thankfulness in our hearts, acknowledging You are ultimately the one who gives generously the surpassing grace in Christ Jesus. Through Your Holy Spirit we will be enriched in every way, to be generous in every way to bring glory, honour and thanksgiving to You alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.
